You’re probably well aware by now that on Saturday February 27th, there was a full cold moon occurs in Virgo. In astrology, Virgo represents health, organization, and obsessing over details. The sun, however, is in Pisces, which is a water sign. It moves and flows based on emotion versus reality, which is the focus of Virgo. The convergence of these two signs provides for a release that will help us both move forward and create. This moon was appropriately named the “Cold Moon” because its focus is similar to spring cleaning—prepping and organizing in preparation for spring.
You probably noticed that the main theme during this full moon was getting your life in order. You might’ve noticed a sudden motivation to purge your life completely, get things in order, and start a new organization system.
But it’s not just about the physical stuff taking up space in your life. You might’ve noticed a similar need for organization in your emotional and spiritual life as well. You might notice that, over the next few weeks, people and patterns in your life that no longer serve you are being released from your life. Keeping things bottled up won’t sit well with you as a result of this full moon.
The Pisces and Virgo convergence will ultimately help create balance in your life. Focus on that balance—spend some time getting your life in order, but don’t feel guilty about taking some time to relax as well.
This Full “Cold Moon” had a strong effect on all signs, but if you have Virgo or Pisces in your chart (Sun, Moon, or Rising) you may have noticed an even stronger effect than a typical full moon.
